Carol’s Lemon Cake

Ingredients: 

3/4 cup sugar
3 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup solid shortening
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1cup buttermilk
Juice of 1lemon

Directions: 

Mix flour and sugar
Then sugar
Eggs
Vanilla
1/3 flour, 1/3 buttermilk
Juice of lemon
